Upon contacting us, we will work with you to arrange a personal consultation with Dr. Kate Impastato. To secure this consultation, a nominal $100 fee is collected, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Please note that this fee is non-refundable if your appointment is canceled within two weeks of your scheduled consultation. Our goal is to support you at every stage of your journey, ensuring your experience with Evergreen Plastic Surgery is both caring and professional.

Preparation
Safety steps to prepare for your consultation
The Consultation
In your personalized one-on-one consultation with Dr. Kate Impastato, she dedicates time to truly understand your aesthetic concerns, point of view, aspirations, and fears. This is an important initial step in establishing a clear understanding and bond between patient and physician. She will then perform a physical exam to assess your concerns and determine where she can help.
Dr. Impastato's calm empathetic approach combined with her thoroughness will put you at ease while allowing her to evaluate your readiness for both the physical and emotional aspects of the recovery process post-surgery.

Should your desires align with the strengths of Evergreen Plastic Surgery, Dr. Impastato will comprehensively present all available options. Through this informative session, she ensures you are well-educated about the benefits and potential risks of each choice, empowering you to make an informed decision.

If, upon discussion, surgery emerges as the optimal path forward, our patient care coordinator will meet with you to give you a personalized fee schedule and work with you to select a suitable procedure date. To secure your procedure date, a deposit is required, with a note that it becomes non-refundable six weeks prior to the scheduled surgery. This commitment ensures a seamless and focused journey toward achieving your aesthetic goals.
Preoperative Appointment
Second Consultation
Two weeks prior to surgery you will have a second appointment with Dr. Impastato. During this visit we make sure any additional questions are answered and that we have a clear understanding of your goals to be certain they are in line with the expected outcome as well as risks associated with the procedure.

We will discuss what medications need to be held leading up to surgery, what supplies need to be purchased in preparation for surgery, and the anticipated postoperative course. Dr. Impastato will send any prescriptions to the pharmacy that you need so you can pick up your medications well in advance.
You will then meet with the patient care coordinator to go over the remaining details of your surgery, review your paperwork, and collect the remainder of your balance.
Please refrain from consuming any food or beverages, including water, after midnight on the night before your procedure. We recommend indulging in a relaxing, extended shower to promote calmness and mental preparedness the morning of your surgery.
If you need corrective lenses please wear glasses and bring a glasses case, do not wear contact lenses. Please avoid wearing any cosmetics or using any hair products. Please do not bring any jewelry or other valuables with you. Plastic studs will need to be in place of any piercings that cannot be removed.

Attire for the day should consist of comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that can be easily unbuttoned or unzipped for removal. Transportation to and from the location of your surgery must be arranged with a friend or family member, as departure via public transportation, rideshare, or taxi is not permitted for your safety.

Post-operative Care
Our commitment to your results extends way beyond the operating room. Dr. Impastato likes to see her own postoperative patients after surgery to make sure they are healing as expected. We are here to support you every step of the way. Depending on the type of surgery and recovery, patients may need to be seen more frequently. For example deep plane facelift and deep plane neck lift patients are seen the day after surgery in addition to the above appointments.
It can take many months for swelling to resolve and scars to mature so long term monitoring is ideal.
Dr. Impastato's patients often share heartfelt sentiments, expressing their outcomes are beyond expectations. Following procedures like tummy tucks and mommy makeovers, they rediscover self-confidence, occasionally becoming emotional during post-op appointments. Many find themselves spending less time scrutinizing their bodies and effortlessly embracing the simplicity of getting dressed.
